The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (WUTC) is an organization dedicated to protecting consumer interests when buying utilities and transportation services.  When you hire a mover in Washington, you should make sure that the moving company has a valid permit.  When you see that your mover has a permit, you can be sure that this mover is following the rules set forth by the commission.  These rules have been enacted to protect consumers from unsavory practices.  Action Moving Services is a registered mover and works closely with the WUTC to meet their consumer protection initiatives.  Our permit number is HG 7807.  As a consumer, you should be sure that all the movers that you talk to have a permit number.

In addition to protecting consumers, the WUTC also performs regular vehicle safety compliance reviews to ensure that the vehicles movers use to transport your furniture are safe to travel on Washington roads.  As a permitted mover, we have agreed to follow the vehicle safety standards, perform daily inspections to maintain the standards, and undergo periodic compliance reviews performed and enforced by the WUTC to make sure that the inspections are getting performed and the vehicles are being maintained properly.
