How To Pack a Mirror Carton
Mirror cartons are used to pack large picture frames and mirrors. They can be a little tricky, which is why many of our customers choose to let us do their fragile packing, which includes mirror cartons and dishpacks. 1) Mirror cartons are designed to create a custom fit. You will need to tape together four individual cartons, which will eventually be "telescoped" together to form one large mirror carton.
2) Stuff the corners and bottom of the cartons with packing paper to ensure a tight fit.
3) Wrap each mirror or picture frame in .
layered paper padding. Wrap your largest piece first, as this will determine what size you make your mirror carton
4) Use a little tape to hold the layered paper pad in place and make it easier to handle.
5) Slide two cartons together and place your largest mirror or picture frame in first. Push the two cartons together to create a tight fit.
6) Continue wrapping picture frames and mirrors in layered paper padding and add them to the carton until it is full. Put packing paper in between each frame and in any empty gaps.
7) Once your picture frames and mirrors are packed in tightly, take the remaining two cartons and slide them over the top of the bottom two cartons.
8) The final step is to wrap tape around the whole package, both vertically and horizontally. The larger the mirror carton is, the more tape you will want to use.
